Electric Handcrafted Lighting
Inspired by original, kerosene oil lamp designs from the 1840's to the 1920's,
Daniel, a journeyman metalsmith, began to reproduce these rare and unique sheetmetal lamps for everyday use (with all electrical lamps having ingenious hidden wiring).
Each handcrafted lamp uses only solid brass, and the carbon steel is either tin plated like the originals or custom finished to produce an aged weathered look. Important details like his original bead style, crimped-seam shades are formed using traditional methods with flat black finish on top and reflective metal on the lower side.
These lamps are unsurpassed in authentic detail and design, and over the years, have been used in many movies and period sites (look in the background next time you're watching a movie).
